Weather of Surkhet is considered moderate when compared to other places in Nepal. The Terai region, to the south, is hot whereas the Himalayan region, to the north, is cold. The temperature in Surkhet ranges from about 20 to 40 degree Celsius (68 to 104 degree Fahrenheit) in the summer and 0 to 25 degree Celsius (32 to 77 degree Fahrenheit) in the winter. It gets about 65 cm (25.59 inches) of rain every year. Most of the rain falls during the monsoon season (June through August). It rarely snows in Surkhet.admin@surkhet.com
